Sunday was rehab day at BSAVA Congress, with a full days’ stream of lectures.
We started with a whirlwind tour of muscle form and function, pain and rehab before a nice summary of myopathies and junctionopathies. Finally, we toured the fascial lines and connections of the dog in a thought provoking presentation series that kept us focussed right up to the close of Congress.
It was a great day with very interesting themes and an opportunity to meet like minded practitioners. Even the weather played its part well, with beautiful sunshine over Birmingham!
Upcoming opportunities to expand our rehab horizons include the Association of Veterinary Anaesthetists spring meeting in Manchester April 26-28 (more details on www.ava.eu.com ) and of course the BVRSMA Autumn meeting pencilled in at this stage for Sept 29th. Watch this space!
